	SurfCheck®
	The human eye can detect minor irregularities on mirroring surfaces. In the same way, the SurfCheck® system can quantitatively measure full field curvature in all directions. While the ViALUX 3D-Scanners acquire 3D object shape fast and precisely, the SurfCheck® system is used whenever smallest waviness on glass or mirrors has to be measured. The standard SurfCheck® test station is designed for objects up to 300 x 500 mm² in size. The modular system concept enables customized solutions also for significantly larger objects. Up to 700 x 1600 mm² objects are inspected with systems implemented in the German automotive and glass industry.
	The SurfCheck® system is an advanced inspection system that automatically provides comprehensive measuring values for millions of data points: • surface normal vector • direction of principal curvature • both principle curvature components • Gaussian curvature. Flat glass as well as objects with curvatures up to 0.1 m-1 can be analysed and the measuring accuracy is 0.03 m-1.
