Proven ViALUX quality
Essential Add-Ons for V-Modules
Efficient Image Projection via On-Board Memory
ViALUX
hardware concept is based on the principle that the image data to be projected
is first loaded from the PC into the integrated onboard memory of the V-Module
and then forwarded from there to the DMD as required.
This
enables the projection of images with very precise timing (adjustable in the
microsecond range) for real-time applications. This would not be possible by
streaming images directly via USB or PCIe, as these interfaces are not
real-time capable.
Also, images that are to be projected multiple times
only need to be loaded into the onboard RAM once and can be retrieved again as
needed.
¹ PCIe is only available for the UltraSpeed V-Modules
² The V-Cam option is obtainable for the V-7001+ (two cameras) and for the UltraSpeed V-Modules (one camera)
Depending on the module family, different memory
sizes are possible, all of which have been specifically tested and proven for
use with ViALUX V-Modules:
RAM type | Already included | Extension option (alternatively) | |
Hi-Speed V-Modules | DDR2-SDRAM | 2 GB | 4 GB |
SuperSpeed V-Modules | DDR3-SDRAM | 8 GB | 16 GB |
UltraSpeed V-Modules | DDR4-SDRAM | 16 GB | 32 GB |
The number of binary patterns that can be stored per specific V-Module can be found in our Technical specifications of V-Modules.
